There are millions of children living in orphanages around the globe. These children will likely never experience the love and nurturing that a forever family can provide. It is Gladney's hope that the annual "Bright Futures Camp" will increase awareness of the need for international adoption and help orphans around the world. The mission of the camp is to build positive awareness of international adoption and increase awareness of the many more children in orphanages needing permanent homes.
Bright Futures Camp - Russia
Gladney's 5th Annual Bright Futures Camp - Russia is planned for July 2008. We hope to bring around 10 children from Russian orphanages to the Dallas/Fort Worth area ! Their ages range from 7 to 15 years old. We continue to accept interested families into the program.
The Gladney Center for Adoption is looking for families to fill various roles during these children's visit to the United States.

If you are interested in participating in the camp as an adopt/sponsor family:
- Step One: Please complete a brief Information Sheet that gives you an opportunity to share information about your family.
- Step Two: Once your Information Sheet is received, you will be contacted to schedule a one-on-one orientation with a Gladney staff member.

- February 16, 2008 - Older Child Adoption and Bright Futures Camp Information Session. Register today!
- April 15 - Gladney application group #1 due (includes home study payment of $1500 and program deposit of $2000)
- April 30 - Gladney application group #2 due
- May 15 - Gladney application group #3 due
- June 6 - Remaining paperwork due to Gladney
- June 27 or 28 - Camp family training day on Gladney campus
- July 16-27 - Bright Futures Camp - Russia
